Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for the past 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Big Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on several well-known television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever for the last ten years.
