Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. Her parents separated when she was just two years old and she was raised by her father and stepfather who was a member of the United States Air Force. While the family left Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was raised within Tokyo, Japan. During this time, Olivia was a part of several theatre productions. In later years, she became a Japanese model. Olivia was a model who relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor and continued working towards her goal after the family moved back to America. Following a series of minor performances, Olivia achieved success when she got the role in the role of Mily Acua on the Hawaii television program Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider. The show's host is "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" as well as "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Surfing is her passion as she has practiced it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). She also holds a blackbelt in Taekwondo. When she was two years old, her mother got married again, this time to an officer in the US Air Force.
