Dennings was involved in a romantic affair in a relationship with Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") from 2011 until the year 2014. After the breakup the couple, she then started dating musician Josh Groban. Together they remained until 2016. In early 2021, the couple met musician Andrew W.K. Soon, the couple began being romantically involved. The couple announced their wedding to each other in May 2021. Dennings was a an admirer of the singer since 2014. Dennings has admitted that, even though she is Jewish and was raised to become an active member of the Jewish community at a social and ethnic level, religion is not a major part in her everyday day life. There are a myriad of hobbies, including reading, painting and gardening. The plan was to go to an art college, however after her entire portfolio got lost in floods, her plans dissolved.
