The tall and athletic Catherine Bell was born in London, England, but moved from London to Los Angeles with her mother while she was a kid. The actress dropped out of the college in order to pursue her career as a model in Japan, despite having intended to pursue a premed degree in college. After returning to L.A. after doing a handful of commercials and making guest appearances on television shows and minor film work. Isabella Rosellini hired her in 1992 to serve as her naked physical therapist. In the filming of the show, Death Becomes Her she met Adam Deason (her future husband). After making a short appearance on the NBC JAG, a show on NBC JAG, she wrote an email to the show's producers, expressing interest in the show.
