Sharon Elizabeth Lawrence, an American singer and actress best known for playing Sylvia Costas in the award-winning show "NYPD Blue", is an actor, dancer and a vocalist. From the time she was a child she was captivated with dancing and performing. Her family was the storyteller's household, her father was a theatre teacher and also performed in it. She was the very first member of her family to develop their talents into a business.
